Your Succulent Is Probably Dying, But Here's What To Do About It | Story | Succulents and Sunshine

What to do if your succulent is dying

Wondering how to save a dying succulent? Or are you worried that your succulent may be dying due to over or under watering? Find out how to tell for sure in this post!

Succulent leaves dry up eventually. Having a few dried up leaves does not indicate a problem. But if most of the leaves begin to shrivel up it's a sign your succulent isn't getting enough water.

Dried out, dying leaves

If your plant's leaves are starting to look yellow and transparent, and feel soggy or mushy to the touch, it's likely suffered from overwatering.

Over-watering

The best way to avoid overwatering is to make sure your soil is completely dried out before watering again. Most succulents can easily go three days (and sometimes even a week or more) without water–so when it doubt, wait before watering.

Having a record of when you've watered your succulents is a simple way to prevent over or under watering. We highly recommend using the Succulent Tracker app to make this process simple, easy and fun.

Keep track of watering…
