Beautiful Purple Succulents for Container Gardens and Arrangements

Whether you're planning a specific arrangement for a wedding or looking for the perfect succulent for your favorite pot, purple succulents should definitely be on that list!

This brightly colored Aeonium has variegated green and purple leaves. When grown in full sun or in cooler temperatures, the yellow and green striped leaves turn bright pink and lime green.

Aeonium 'Mardi Gras'

‘Debbie’ is an Echeveria hybrid whose rosette shows off a beautiful rose shape. The tips of the blueish-purple leaves turn pink when stressed. It works well in planters outdoors.

Graptoveria 'Debbie'

This is one of the most beautiful and easy to find succulents. It has a really nice purple-ish color along the edges. It grows well outside in container gardens.

Echeveria 'Perle von Nurnberg'

This cold-hardy succulent has green leaves with purple tips. As the rosette grows, it displays a Fibonacci spiral. This succulent is monocarpic, meaning it will die after blooming.

Sempervivum 'Wendy'

This tall dark red and green succulent turns almost black when grown in full sun. It branches off in clumps, becoming bushy when allowed to grow and spread outside.
