This trailing succulent has green oval leaves which grow overlapping on a thick, green stem. As it grows, it begins to trail, making it ideal for hanging pots or ground cover. “Trailing Jade” rarely blooms. However, when it does, it produces orange flowers.

Senecio jacobsenii "Trailing Jade" grows well in pots, container gardens, or on its own in a hanging basket. It adds "spiller" to succulent arrangements when the stems grow long and begin to trail.

It can also be used as ground cover in rock gardens.

Senecio jacobsenii has typical watering needs for a succulent. It's best to use the “soak and dry” method, and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
