How to Propagate Sempervivum ‘Royanum'
Sempervivum ‘Royanum’ is perfect for outdoor succulent growers, and is very cold hardy. It propagates from offsets (chicks).
Offsets
‘Royanum' will produce small rosette offsets. Cut the offsets off from the main stem with a sharp, sterile knife or scissors. Allow the offsets to dry for one to two days before laying on well-draining soil.
Seeds
When growing ‘Royanum' from seed, be sure that the temperature is warmer, or you are using a grow light and seed warmer. Sow seeds in well-draining soil, watering whenever the soil is dry. Germination can take several weeks or longer, depending on your growing environment.
