Sempervivum ‘Pacific Blue Ice' is a clumping succulent that shows of its best color in the cold temperatures of winter. The rosettes are deer resistant.
Watering
Sempervivum ‘Pacific Blue Ice' has typical watering needs for a succulent. It's best to use the “soak and dry” method, and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
Where to Plant
‘Pacific Blue Ice' is cold hardy to -20°F (-28.9°C), and will survive the winter under snow.
How to Propagate Sempervivum ‘Pacific Blue Ice'
Sempervivum ‘Pacific Blue Ice' produce small rosette offsets, or “chicks”. Cut the offsets off from the main stem with a sharp, sterile knife or scissors. Allow the offsets to dry for one to two days before laying on well-draining soil.
Please note that ‘Pacific Blue Ice’ will not come true from seed.
