This mounding succulent has light green, oblong leaves. When happily stressed, the leaves can turn pink. Watch for white star-shaped flowers in the spring.

Sedum pallidum var. bithynicum will spread out as it grows, forming a clumping mat. It also grows well in container gardens, and as it grows it trails down over the pot. Although it is a matting succulent, it is not sturdy enough to walk on. 

Watering

Sedum pallidum var. bithynicum has typical watering needs for a succulent. It's best to use the “soak and dry” method, and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.

Be careful not to over-water, as this can lead to root rot.
